Craig E. Hummel, 68, of Terre Haute passed away Saturday August 3, 2019 in his residence. Craig was an Independent Jewelry Designer. He was born June 17, 1951 in South Bend to Elvin and Maxine (Hans) Hummel. He is survived by his wife, Madonna (Bruggenschmidt) Hummel; daughters, Maggie Hummel of Terre Haute and Clair Hummel of Houston; son, Clay Hummel (Casey) of Terre Haute; sister, Cheryl Stuckey (Ron); brother, Bruce Hummel (Marcia); grandchildren, Olivia, Max, and Greta and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents. Craig was current president and long-time volunteer wth Fowler Park Folk. He was a former 4-H leader for 20 years, Boy Scout Leader, and baseball coach. He was an artist and enjoyed woodworking and blacksmithing. There will be Celebration of Life on Friday August 9, 2019 from 4:00 until 7:00 pm at the Barn in Fowler Park, friends are invited to come share memories and stories about Craig.
