Coy A. Orman, 91, of Terre Haute, passed away Wednesday, March 1, 2017 in Bethesda Gardens.

He was born February 10, 1926 in Terre Haute to Coy Virgil Orman and Margaret Ellen Tryon Orman.

Coy served in the United States Navy during World War II. He was a traffic manager for IMC (Commercial Solvents). He was a member of Mount Pleasant United Methodist Church. Coy was an avid golfer.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife, Marian Nash Orman; his second wife, Mildred Hoopengarner Orman; and a sister, Betty King.

Coy is survived by his daughter, Margaret Fulsom of Terre Haute his sons, Benjamin Orman and his wife, Pauline; and Mic Orman and his wife, LaRysa, all of Terre Haute;; and his sister, Joann Long of Terre Haute. He is also survived by four grandchildren, Jason Orman (Melissa), Megan Fulsom, Jana Swiger (Sean), Allison Fulsom; three step grandchildren; Hailey Marietta, Kenzee Marietta and Max Marietta; great grandchildren, Logan Orman, Landon Orman and Coleson Swiger; and several nieces and nephews.

In honor of Coy's wishes, cremation has been chosen. A Memorial Service will be held Monday, March 6, 2017 at 4:00 p.m. at DeBaun Springhill Chapel, 85 East Springhill Drive, Terre Haute. A Gathering of Friends and Family will be held Sunday, March 5, 2017 from 2:00-6:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
