Obituary

Cordelia Mae Clifton Page, 87, of Terre Haute passed away Saturday February 21, 2015 at 1:46 pm in Cobblestone Crossing with her family by her side. She worked for many years at Merchants Savings Association. Mae was born August 13, 1927 in Terre Haute to Milton R. Clifton and Cordelia (Shoppell) Clifton. Mae was preceded in death by her parents and by two brothers, Robert Clifton and Ray Clifton. She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Jack H.Page, whom she married August 20, 1949; a daughter, Linda K .Storey and her husband Marty of Terre Haute; sons, John C. Page and his wife Dee Ann of Terre Haute, Stephen R. Page and his wife Marcia of Cave Creek, AZ, and Bruce E. Page and his wife Dianne of Bend, OR; a sister-in-law, Delores June Clifton; 7 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren and 2 nephews. Mae was a 1946 graduate of Wiley High School, was a long-time member of United Methodist Temple, a former member of Delta Theta Chi. She spent many years as both a Cub Scout and Girl Scout Leader, she was a volunteer at Union Hospital and with the youth groups at church. Mae enjoyed sewing and knitting and loved to spend time with her family. Visitation will be Friday February 27, 2015 from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm in DeBaun Funeral Homes, Wabash Avenue Chapel, 2425 Wabash Ave. with graveside services to follow in the chapel at Roselawn Memorial Park at 1:30 pm with Reverend Steve Rundel officiating. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Park. Mae wishes were that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Wabash Valley Community Foundation or the charity of choice.
