Connie Leroy O'Hern, 74, of Terre Haute passed away Saturday September 28, 2019 in his residence. He was a retired firefighter with over 35 years of service with the Staunton Fire Department and Search and Rescue. He was also Staunton Town Marshall for 19 years, worked at the Clay County Jail, drove an ambulance for 2 years and also retired from AMAX Coal. He was born December 31, 1944 in Brazil, Indiana to Raymond and Marjorie Mae (Burns) O'Hern. Connie is survived by his wife Donna Jean (Archer) O'Hern; step-daughter, Anita Richter; step-son, John Brown (Della) and grandchildren, John Brown III, Brendon Brown, Bailey Jean Richter, and Ashley Esther Richter. Visitation will be Saturday, October 5, 2019 from 2:00 until 4:00 pm in DeBaun Springhill Chapel with a memorial service starting at 4:00 pm in the funeral home with Kevin Timberman officiating.
