Connie Sue Hubenthal Williams Smith, age 73, of Terre Haute, Indiana passed away Friday, May 3, 2024, at 8:29 p.m. in her residence. She was born August 29, 1950, in Lucerne, Indiana. Connie is the daughter of the late Frank M. and Helen J. (Whitcomb) Hubenthal.

Connie retired as a Home Health Aide of 33 plus years. Connie was a sister, mother, wife, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Connie devoted her life to her family.

She is survived by 10 children that she raised, 36 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, and brother J.T. Hubenthal who resides in Lucerne, Indiana. Connie was preceded in death by her parents, brother Larry, her husband William A. Smith, nephew Ryan J. Hubenthal, son Dustin and grandson Matthew A. Thomlinson.  Funeral services will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Friday, May 10, 2024 at Debaun Springhill Chapel. Pastor Merrill Weir, Jr. will officiate.  Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the funeral home.  In lieu of flowers, donations in remembrance of Connie can be made to Riley Children's Hospital Prosthetic Department.
