Clifford Louis Julian, 78, of Terre Haute passed away at his home surrounded by his loved ones on Thursday, September 10, 2026. He was born on August 18, 1948, in Terre Haute and was lovingly raised by Edward Thomas Craffets and Iona Mae Twohig Craffets.

Clifford was a proud Army veteran and belonged to the American Legion Post 346 and was a lifelong member of the Eagles Lodge 291. He participated in Special Olympics and was a member of Blackhawk Community Church. Clifford was always positive and had a happy-go-lucky attitude. He was a beloved husband, brother, uncle, papaw and friend. Clifford will be sadly missed by family and friends.

Clifford is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Delia “Joyce” Julian; chosen son William Craffets, chosen daughter Stephanie Hillhouse, chosen grandson William Craffets II, chosen granddaughter Rosalyn Baker, siblings Dianne Stuckey, Debbie Wyatt, Brenda Craffets, and Mike Craffets, special nephew Caden Craffets, and several nieces, nephews, and extended family. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Edward J. Craffets, and sister Anita Craffets.

Visitation will be held on Monday, September 14, 2026, at DeBaun Springhill Chapel from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Service will begin at the funeral home at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Jeff Lee officiating. Burial will be private. The family would like to extend a thank you to all of those who visited and helped to care for Clifford in his final days, especially Tiffany, Dianne, Caden, Hope, and Robin. In lieu of flowers, donations to help Joyce move would be greatly appreciated.
