Clara Lucille Coble, 96, of Terre Haute passed away on Tuesday October 6, 2015 at 11:00 pm in her residence. She was retired after 26 years as a bookkeeper for I.U.O.E. Local #841. She was born May 11, 1919 in Terre Haute to Stephen Walker and Catherine (Schwartz) Walker. Her husband died December 25, 1991. Clara is survived by a dear friend, Mary Hoy of Terre Haute. She was also preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Floyd Walker and William Walker. Clara was an avid golfer and played at Rhea Park, the Stadium Park and in Marshall, IL, she also loved to play Euchre. Services will be Saturday October 10, 2015 at 11:00 am in the chapel at Highland Lawn Cemetery. Burial will be in Highland Lawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family suggests that if friends desire, memorial contributions may be made to either the Lighthouse Mission or the Terre Haute Humane Society.
