Christine (Hunt) Edmondson, 99, of Terre Haute passed away at her residence on October 7, 2014. She was born February 5, 1915 in Linton Township to Roxy and Eula (Randolph) Hunt. Mrs. Edmondson retired in 1975 as a laboratory technician at Pfizer and Company. Her church membership was at Union Baptist Church. She was preceded by her husband John J. Edmondson in 1989 and a daughter Sandra Gray in 2004 She is survived by a daughter Janice Shirley, sisters Frieda Haworth and Norma Jean Strain, six grandchildren Jerrilyn Hedges, Tim Shirley, Chris Scott, Tina O'Dell Foote, Brad Colglazier, and Marty Gray. There are 8 great-grandchildren, 16 great-great- grandchildren, and one great-great-great granddaughter. She was preceded in death by brothers and sisters Ray Hunt, Roy Hunt, Joe Hunt, and Ross Hunt, Irene Miller, Trella Boyll, Alma Shelton, Janet Leach, and Joann Spitler. Funeral services will be in DeBaun Springhill Chapel on Saturday, October 11, 2014 at 2 p.m. with Pastor Rod Maris officiating. Friends may call from noon until service time.
