Charlotte M. Bridgewater, 63, of Terre Haute passed away Friday February 26, 2016 in Regional Hospital. She had worked as a contractor sales associate for Furrows and a mother and homemaker. Charlotte was born July 30, 1952 in Clay County, IN to James Johnson and Bertha Marie (Rabb) Johnson. She is survived by her husband, Wayne Bridgewater, whom she married December 5, 1974; sons, Larry Tabor, Jr. (Tonya) of South Carolina, Stacy Michael Tabor of Kansas City, MO, Marty Bridgewater (Diana Melton) of Brocton, IL, and James Lewis Tabor of Terre Haute; a sister, Rhonda Hatton; a brother, James Johnson; a brother-in-law, Grady Cochran; 12 grandchildren and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents, a son, James Tabor and a sister, Theresa Cochran. Charlotte loved being outdoors hunting and fishing, she also loved reading and writing and she loved collecting teddy bears. Visitation will be Tuesday March 1, 2016 from 4:00 until 8:00 pm in DeBaun Springhill Chapel with funeral services on Wednesday March 2, 2016 at 2:00 pm in the funeral home with Pastor Jeff Lee officiating. Burial will be in Croy's Creek Cemetery (east of Brazil)
