Charles Wayne Patterson, 87, of Rosedale, Indiana, passed away Sunday, February 22, 2026.  He was born to John Patterson and Vera (Hogue) Patterson on April 29, 1938 in Terre Haute, Indiana.  He married the love of his life, Mary Lou (Rainbolt) Patterson on June 19, 1959.  Charles enjoyed playing golf and bowling.  He was a big outdoors guy and loved riding his tractor and mushroom hunting.

Charles is preceded in death by both of his parents and his brothers, John Patterson and Robert Patterson.

Charles is survived by his loving wife; son, Michael Wayne Patterson (Kristi S.); daughter, Penny Jo Ward; grandchildren, Lacey, Ayla, and Charlie; great-grandchildren, Tyler and Samara; and several nieces and nephews.
