Charles B. Jones, 75, of Fairbanks passed away Saturday August 22, 2015 in Westminster Village Health Care. Charles was a Iron Worker and had been a teacher in Shelburn. He was born June 30, 2015 to Bert Jones and Fanny (Benefiel) Jones. He is survived by his wife Sandra (Drake) Jones, whom he married in 1963; a daughter, Krista Jones (Nathan) of Terre Haute; a son, Michael Jones (Sherry) of Fairbanks; sisters, Betty Dunford, Judy Morse, and Johncy Lee; a brother, JD Jones; 4 grandchildren, Jessica Abolt, Jacob Abolt, Cole Jones, and Carley Jones and 1 great grandson, Logan Mol. He was preceded in death by his parents and a grandson, Jordan Jones. Chareles was a veteran of the US Air Force, a member of the American Legion, Moose Lodge and Elks Lodge. He loved being outdoors and enjoyed fishing, watching motorcycle racing and NASCAR. Charles was also a very good basketball player. Per Charles request there is no visitation or services.
