Charlene S. Schlosser, 75, of Terre Haute passed away Thursday June 20, 2013 at 4:25 am in Terre Haute Regional Hospital. She was retired from AMAX Coal Company. Charlene was born November 2, 1937 in Fairbanks, IN to Charles F. Pound and Joy Eilene (Thomson) Pound. She is survived by 3 daughters: Deborah "Dee" Little and her husband Ron, Michele Schlosser-Rukes, and Sue Cheesman and her husband John all of Terre Haute; a son: Michael Schlosser and his wife Julie of Terre Haute; a sister: Judith Siner of Farmersburg, IN; 7 grandchildren: David Ewing and his wife Dana, Joe Cheesman, Cody Cheesman, Mykka Rukes, Charlsie E. Rukes, Jacob Schlosser, and Alan Schlosser, and 2 great grandchildren: Jozalynn Roberts and Lydia Cheesman. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother-in-law: Danny Siner. Charlene was a St. Louis Cardinals, IU Basketball, and Indianapolis Colts fan. Visitation will be Saturday June 29, 2013 from 10:00 am until 1:00 pm in DeBaun Springhill Chapel, 85 E. Springhill Dr with a Celebration of Life at 1:00 pm in the funeral home with Brad Siner leading the services. Private family burial will be at a later in Pogue Cemetery. The family suggests that for those who desire, memorial contributions may be made to the American Lung Association.
