Chad F. Butts, 36, of Terre Haute passed away Tuesday March 8, 2022. He was born June 10, 1985 in Terre Haute to Fred Butts and Cindy (Hofmann). Chad is survived by his wife, Justine (Johnston) Butts; mother, Cindy Selge (Bob); father, Fred Butts (Beth); maternal grandmother, Nadine Hofmann; sisters, Courtnie Parrish (Steve), Jennifer Butts, and Sarah Duchene (Richard); brother, Jordan Butts (Sarah) and step-children, Kirklee and Felix. He was a 2004 graduate of Clay City High School. He was active in 4-H and showed sheep and cattle. He also enjoyed competitive go-cart racing. Chad loved the outdoors, fishing, and animals. He and his father were in the cattle business and he was very knowledgeable, passionate and they had an outstanding herd. Most importantly, Chad loved Jesus and believed in forgiveness and eternal life. Visitation will be Friday March 11, 2022 from 1:00 until 2:00 pm in DeBaun Springhill Chapel with a memorial service at 2:00 pm with Pastor Tracy Hamilton officiating.
