Cecelia E. Barbee, 87, of Fairbanks passed away Tuesday April 30, 2024 in Terre Haute Regional Hospital. She was born June 21, 1936 in Sullivan County to Paul and Margaret (Holecek) Harris. Cecelia is survived by her daughter, Sharon Cochran (John); son, Jeffrey Deakins; sisters, Rosemary Fuson, Carol Jenkins, and Lois Whitkanack; brother, Marvin Harris; five grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren; one great great-grandchild on the way, several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband William F. Barbee, who died August 11, 1994 and a sister, Marjorie Thomas. Cecelia was an avid quilter and seamstress. Visitation will be Saturday May 4, 2024 from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm in DeBaun Springhill Chapel with funeral services starting at 1:00 pm in the funeral home with Pastor Don Ransford officiating.
