Cathy Diane Anderson, 64, of Terre Haute passed away Sunday December 25, 2016 at 11:20 pm in Terre Haute Regional Hospital. Cathy spent her life doing what she loved which was teaching. She spent many years at Northview High School and had also taught in Texas, Florida, North Vermillion and Harrison College. She was born March 14, 1952 in Terre Haute to Jack Summerlot and Bobbie (Holt) Summerlot. She is survived by her children, Ashley Van Holsbeke (Nicholas) of Chicago and Chad Anderson (Sarah) of Terre Haute; grandchildren, Morgan Anderson and Alexander Van Holsbeke; a sister, Vickie Reed of Texas; brothers, Kevin Summerlot (Darla) of Terre Haute, David Summerlot of Terre Haute, and Jack Summerlot (Anne) of Port Charlotte, FL and her former husband, Bruce Anderson of Sebastian, FL. Cathy was a very doting and loving Nana, she was a very, generous and light-hearted person who enjoyed doing for others and was very dedicated to her family. Cathy also enjoyed reading and being outdoors, working in the garden. Visitation will be Thursday December 29, 2016 from 2:00 until 6:00 pm in DeBaun Springhill Chapel, 85 E. Springhill Dr.
