Obituary

Catherine "Peg" Curtis, 81, of Terre Haute passed away on August 12, 2019 at Waters of Greencastle Nursing Home after a long hard fought battle of Alzheimer's disease.  She was born on August 1, 1938 to George Arthur Dixon and Catherine Elizabeth Dixon.  Peg is preceded in death by both parents; her loving husband Charles "Chuck" Curtis; Nephew Doug Sullivan and her sister Evelyn Dixon Hutchinson of Shelburn.  Peg is survived by her daughter Michelle Naugle (Kenny); Son Roger Curtis (Marla); Sister Mary Dixon Sullivan (Carl "Mack"); six grandchildren Austin, Bailey, and Cameron Curtis as well as Andrew, Dylan, and Sydney Morgan; Peg is also survived by her nieces and nephews, Carla Walton, Melissa Hutchinson, and Alan Hutchinson.  Peg was a member of Saint Margaret Mary Catholic Church.  She was an avid bowler with her husband Chuck.  The two also enjoyed fishing and traveling together.  Visitation for Peg will be held on Wednesday August 14 at Saint Margaret Mary Catholic Church from 12:00-2:00 PM with Funeral Mass starting at 2:00 with Father Dan Bedel officiating.  Entombment at Calvary Cemetery will follow.
