Carroll L. Conder, 76 of Terre Haute, passed away at 4:43 PM on Wednesday, February 17, 2016 at Signature Health Care of Terre Haute. She was born in Terre Haute on April 2, 1939 to William Oscar French and Thelma Drake French. Carroll is survived by her husband Malcolm Conder Sr., whom she married April 28, 1955. Also surviving are three children; Gary D. Conder (Katie), Anita D. Whitlock (Kenny), and Christina L. Conder (Jerry). Also surviving are 10 grandchildren; Michelle, Michael, Mathew, Lisa, Justin, Danielle, Devin, Dana, Sean, and Ashley, as well as 12 great grandchildren; Ethan, Emma, Austin, Emilie, Dallas, Peyton, Katelyn, Devin, Jr., Madisyn, Shaylee, Levi, and Raven, and one sister, Callie Myers. Carroll was preceded in death by a son, Malcolm L. Conder, Jr., great grandson Joshua James Dean, and 4 brothers; Ron French, Don French, Wilbert French, and Thomas French. Funeral services will be held at DeBaun Springhill Chapel on Monday, February 22, 2016 at 11:00 AM, with Rev. Merrill Weir Jr. officiating. Burial will follow at New Harmony Cemetery. Visitation is scheduled for Sunday, February 21, 2016 from 2:00 - 6:00 PM at DeBaun Springhill Chapel.
