Carolyn S. Lidster, 77, of Harrison, OH and formerly of Terre Haute passed away Saturday July 28, 2018 in Cincinnati, OH. Carolyn was a retired nurse from Southwood Healthcare Center. She was born December 1, 1940 in Terre Haute to John Alvin and Nellie Evelyn Furrer. Carolyn is survived by a daughter, Jeannie Keller (Andy) of Harrison, OH; step-daughters, Rhonda Sue Pickens (Chuck) of Terre Haute and Genie Caldwell (Denny) of Brownsburg; grandchildren, Kayle Pickens (Chris), Brittne Stultz (Ryan), Brooke Smith (Scott), and Jordan Shelton (boyfriend, Jared Grogg); great-grandchildren, Garrett Smith, Sam Pickens, Seth Pickens, Caleb Stultz, and Ty Stultz; a sister, Mary Evelyn Johnson; a sister-in-law, Betty Cornwell and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands, Louis Chubb, and William Lidster; brothers, John "Buddy" Furrer, Jr. and his wife Madlyn, Gerald Lee Furrer, and Richard Furrer; sister, Joan McClure and her husband Estell and a brother-in-law, Glen Johnson. She was a member of the Harrison Women of the Moose and enjoyed gambling, gardening, and crocheting. Visitation will be Monday August 6, 2018 from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm in DeBaun Springhill chapel with a memorial service at 1:00 pm in the funeral home with Pastor Jeff Lee officiating.
