Carole Ann
Pulliam
December 15, 1937 – November 18, 2023
Carole Ann Pulliam, 85, formerly of Terre Haute and currently of Warsaw, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, November 18, 2023. She was born December 15, 1937, in Granite City, Illinois to William M. Haynes and Gladys F. Gilleland Haynes. Carole married the only man she ever loved, Daniel Pulliam, on December 27, 1959. Carole worked as a Registered Nurse for many years. She attended Union Christian Church in Terre Haute. Carole was a talented artist, enjoying painting, ceramics, and crafts. She loved to garden and plant flowers. Being an avid reader, she passed that passion on to her children and grandchildren. Carole loved her country and especially veterans. Carole wrote hundreds of letters to inspire and comfort them while they were away from their families and serving our country. Most of all, Carole loved Jesus and because of this she leaves behind a legacy of children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren who also know and love the Lord.
Carole is survived by her daughters Linda Kitch (Steve) of Warsaw, Maria Bonilla-Thompson (Justin) of Terre Haute. Grandchildren Kelsey Heckaman (Andrew), Shelby Legan (Ty), Dan Kitch (Emily), Karly Perkins (Jason), Gabriella Bonilla, and Aurora Bonilla, eight great-grandchildren with one on the way, and her little sister Linnea Izzo (Tom) of Collinsville, IL. She also is survived by several brothers and sister's in-law. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 62 years, Daniel Lee Pulliam, and brother Billy Haynes.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, November 29, 2023, at DeBaun Springhill Chapel from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. Service will begin at the funeral home at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Rick Swan officiating.
