Carol Sue Dixon, 71, of Terre Haute passed away on Sunday, March 9, 2025.  She was born on June 25, 1953, in Dayton, Ohio to Ray Cecil Suman and Hazel Ruth Perkins Suman.  Carol was a restaurant manager for many years.  She enjoyed watching movies, especially romantic comedies.  Carol loved Care Bears, going shopping, and the simple things in life like a cigarette and a cold Mountain Dew.  The grandchildren have great memories of sleepovers and trips for junk food to the gas station. She was a spitfire and had a fiery personality.

Carol is survived by her daughter Rhoni Sarson (James), son Michael Lee, and grandchildren Gracie Sarson, Chloe Sarson, Lance Sarson, Camryn Sarson and Austin Daringer. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Visitation will be held Saturday, March 15, 2025, at DeBaun Springhill Chapel from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Service will begin at the funeral home at 1:00 p.m with Chaplain Chris Stahlman officiating. Burial will follow at New Harmony Cemetery.
