Carol A. Weir, 84 of West Terre Haute, passed away at 9:00 PM on Wednesday, August 23, 2017 at Southwood Healthcare.  She was born in Terre Haute on February 4, 1933 to Harry Barton and Ruth Reveal Barton.  She was a retired secretary for MAB Paints.  Carol was preceded in death by her husband William Weir on August 24, 2016, and a brother, Jeffrey Walter Barton.  She is survived by three brothers;  Harry Robert Barton, Kenneth William Barton, and Timothy Rea Barton, as well as several nieces and nephews.  A graveside service for Carol will be held at New Harmony Cemetery on Saturday, August 26, 2017 at 1:00 PM, with Pastor Jeff Lee officiating.  Burial will follow in New Harmony Cemetery.  Arrangements are under the direction of DeBaun Springhill Chapel.
