Carly Mae Zurcher, 43, passed away on October 18, 2023. She was born on September 5, 1980 in Washington, IN to James Grove Jr. and Betty Jeffers. She worked as a Fraud Analyst for First Financial Bank for many years. Carly loved horror movies, however, her favorite movie was The Wizard of Oz.  She enjoyed going to different historical activities, such as the Covered Bridge Festival and Pioneer Days.  She never met a stranger that she did not talk to.  Most importantly Carly enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.

Carly is survived by her parents James Grove Jr. and Betty Jeffers (Greg Jeffers Sr.), son Jack Logan Zurcher, brothers James Grove III (Keri Jackson), Greg Jeffers Jr. (Esti), Damien Jeffers (Katie Whitlow); sister Tammy Dixon (Cory), grandfather James A. Grove (Janice), several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, as well as great-nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her son Grant Dale Zurcher.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 24, 2023 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at DeBaun Springhill Chapel in Terre Haute, IN.  A Funeral Mass will be held at Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church in Washington, IN on Wednesday, October 25, 2023 at 11 a.m. with visitation starting at 10 a.m. at the church.  Burial will be at St. Johns Cemetery following Mass.  Donations may be made to the American Heart Association.
