Candy Sue Ricketts, 63, passed away at her home on October 30, 2019.  She was born on August 16, 1956 to Donald Lee Cottom Sr and Barbara June (Jones) Cottom.  She is preceded in death by both her parents as well as her son, Gregory Cottom Keene.  Candy is survived by her husband M L Ricketts Sr.; Children Eric Curry, Andy Gilbert (Amanda), Matt Gilbert (Shasta), Heather Elliott (Tim), Scott Curry (Ashley), Travis Gilbert (Kendra), Bobby Curry (Sarah), and Jake Gilbert (Nicole); M L's children, who she considered her own, ML Ricketts Jr (Tammy), Sharon Hammond (John), Sherry Leary (Bill), and Larry Ricketts (Ellen); Candy had 28 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren, she is also survived by ML's 11 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren, which she loved.  Also surviving Candy are her brothers Doug Cottom (Myla), Dave Cottom (Cher), and Donnie Cottom (Debbie), as well as many nieces and nephews.  She enjoyed spending time in the rock garden. Candy loved Halloween, more than anything though she loved her dogs and her grandchildren.  Visitation for Candy will be held at DeBaun Funeral Homes Springhill Chapel on Sunday, November 3rd from 4-7:00 PM with a memorial service starting at 7:00.
