Obituary

Brian Stott, 59, of Terre Haute, passed away on Saturday, August 15, 2026. He was born in Princeton, Indiana on January 15, 1967, to Emery Keegan, Jr. and Betty Cordray Keegan. Brian had an eternal love for cars. He was restoring a 1937 Chevy and a 1968 GTO. Brian was a Chevy man through and through. He and Pam enjoyed going to any car show that was nearby. Brian was a member of the GTO Club and the National Street Rod Association. He was also a gun enthusiast belonging to the National Rifle Association and the Lost Creek Conservation Club. Brian began working at B&G Clabber Girl Distribution on Margaret Avenue in 2014. While there he had many friends and colleagues. Brian married the love of his life, Pamela Shields Stott in 1991. Most of all being with family brought him the most happiness. The family tradition of gathering every Tuesday for dinner was among his favorite things. His presence will be sadly missed by all those who loved him.

Brian is survived by his wife Pam, sister Susie Brock (Scott), sister in law Terri Stott, nieces and nephews Chris Brock (Megan), Brandon Brock (Allie), Cody Brock (Savannah), Nick Stott, and Katie Stott, great nieces and great nephews Jordan Young, Eli Brock, Hope Brock, and Sadie Brock; mother in law Judy Shields, sister in law Melinda Green (Randy), and brother in law Michael Shields. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother Randy Stott.

Visitation will be held Thursday, August 20, 2026, at DeBaun Springhill Chapel from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Funeral Service will be Friday, August 21, 2026, at the funeral home at 10:00 a.m. with Pastor Joe Craft officiating. Burial will follow at Watson Cemetery.
