Brenda Lynn Carlson, 67, of West Terre Haute passed away April 27, 2017 in her home.

She was born September 1, 1949 in Terre Haute, Indiana to Charles Edward Fisher and Ruby Swalls Fisher.

Brenda was a 1967 graduate of Wiley High School. She worked in the Accounts Payable Department of Wabash Fibre Box. She loved to bowl and play BUNCO.

Brenda was preceded in death by her father; and infant son, Ronnie Edwards.

She is survived by her mother; her husband, James Carlson, whom she married May 25, 1974; her son, Jason Carlson and his wife, Jean; her daughter, Christina Washington and her husband, Leamon; her grandchildren, Madison Lucas, Garrett Carlson, Logan Carlson, Frank Bashaw III and Ezekiel Washington; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

In honor of Brenda's wishes, cremation has been chosen. A memorial service will be held Thursday, May 4, 2017 at 3:00 p.m. at DeBaun Springhill Chapel, 85 East Springhill Drive, Terre Haute, Indiana. A gathering of friends and family will be held from 2:00 p.m. until service time.
