Bonnie Jean Hancock, 82,of Terre Haute passed away Saturday, April 23, 2022 at home surrounded by her loved ones.  She was born February 13, 1940 in Terre Haute to Donald Neese and Thelma Reynolds Spitler.  Bonnie and her husband Jerry spent many years on the road as Jerry was a truckdriver. They had a condo in Vero Beach Florida years ago.  From their balcony they witnessed the Challenger explosion.  Most of all Bonnie loved her kids and grandkids. Being a grandmother was one of her greatest joys.

Bonnie is survived by her mother,  husband Jerry Hancock, son Randy Hancock, daughter Cynthia "Cindy" Kays, nine grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren and one great great-grandchild, as well as several brothers, sisters, and cousins.  She is preceded in death by her father, sons Jerry Hancock and Richard Hancock.

Visitation will be held Friday, April 29, 2022 at DeBaun Springhill Chapel from 10:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.  Service will begin at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Randy Smith officiating. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park.
