Billy R. Walls, 81, of Terre Haute passed away Monday March 14, 2022 in Regional Hospital. He retired after 38 years as a Supervisor with International Paper (formerly Weston Paper). He was born January 30, 1941 in Terre Haute to Lloyd and Virginia (Cox) Walls. Billy is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Jane (Hollis) Walls; sons, Michael Walls and Lloyd Walls; grandchildren, Myka Hunter, Stephen Deverick, Nathan Walls, Keghan Walls, Zach Ferry, Jessica Franco, Ariana Knoblett, and Annabelle Huffington, 11 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, De Rice; sister, Alice Hollis and brother, Ron Walls. Billy loved dirt track racing and his favorite driver was Robert Ballou. He liked going to the casinos and on racing trips and he never met a stranger. He also enjoyed putting out a garden every year. Most of all Billy was a loving husband, dad, and grandpa and will be missed. Visitation will be Friday March 18m 2022 rom 4:00 until 8:00 pm in DeBaun Springhill Chapel with funeral services to follow at 8:00 pm in the funeral home.
