Billie Lou Cvengros, 88, of Terre Haute passed away Thursday November 7, 2024 in Cobblestone Crossing Health Campus. She was a 3rd grade teacher for 25 years at Van Duyn Elementary in Clinton. She was born January 23, 1936 in Terre Haute to William and Catherine (Giacoletto) Vitalie. Billie is survived by her loving husband of 68 years, Donald Cvengros; daughter, Laura Cvengros; son, Kevin Cvengros; sister-in-law, Paula Vitalie and her goddaughter, Jill Vitalie Hannah. She was preceded in death by her brother, Charles Vitalie. She was a 1954 graduate of Clinton High School and a 1972 graduate of Indiana State University. Billie was a member of St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church. She also loved to teach and participate in Senior Water Aerobics at the YWCA. Visitation will be Wednesday November 13, 2024 from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm in DeBaun Springhill Chapel with a Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 1:30 pm in St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church.
