William E. "Bill" Grogan, III, 39, of Terre Haute died unexpectedly Sunday June 23, 2013. He was an engineer for the Indiana Railroad. Bill was born July 21, 1973 in Terre Haute to William "Ed" Grogan and Jeri (Szcenski) Grogan. He is survived by his parents of Terre Haute; paternal grandfather: William "Bill" Grogan, Sr. and his best friend Doris Bolton of Terre Haute; a sister: Jennifer Fall and her husband Eric of Terre Haute; a brother: Scott Grogan and his wife Angie of Terre Haute; his 2 beloved boxers: Gus and Maddie; 2 aunts: Cathy Grogan and Donna Barron and her husband Glenn; an uncle: Steve Shumaker and his wife Treva; 3 nieces: Katie Grogan, Kristina Zebrowski, and Danielle Zebrowski; a nephew: Max Grogan and many more extended family. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother: Carmen Grogan, maternal grandmother: Betty Martin, and maternal grandfather: Donald Sczenski. Bill enjoyed being outdoors riding his motorcycle, golfing, and fishing. Visitation will be Saturday June 29, 2013 from 12:00 noon until 2:00 pm in DeBaun Funeral Home, Wabash Ave. Chapel, 2425 Wabash Ave. with a memorial service at 2:00 pm in the funeral home with Pastor Rick Swan officiating. As per Bill's request, cremation is scheduled.
