Betty Irene Switzer, 72, of Terre Haute, Indiana passed away on Saturday, September 13, 2025.  She was born to Robert and Lillian Florence (Hughes) Switzer on July 14, 1953 in West Terre Haute, Indiana.  Betty loved the Lord and loved to sing in church.

Betty is survived by her son Richard Cooper (Stacey); daughters Lisa and Leslie Patterson, Bobbie Jo Riordan (Gary); brothers Bill, Harry (Nandy) of Arizona, Paul (Paula), Danny (Frieda); sister Mary Montgomery; grandchildren Joshua, Ashley, Amber, Billy, Travis, Ramante, Aswad, Kahlil, Kalib, London; brother-in-law William Wilson; several great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Betty is preceded in death by both of her parents; her husband Robert Edward Patterson; brothers James, Earl, Carl, Jack; sisters Marie, Rebecca Wilson; and brother-in-law Robert.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 3, 2025 at 3pm at Grandview Cemetery. Cremation has been entrusted to DeBaun Funeral Home. Online condolences may be made at www.debaunfuneralhomes.com.
