Betty R Owens-Hasler, 92, of Terre Haute IN passed away December 23, 2017 at 12:30 a.m. in her home with family.  She was born in Sullivan County on April 26, 1925 to Everett Bedwill and Nellie "McCammon" Bedwell.  Betty retired from AP&S Clinic, where she worked in the insurance department.  She is preceded in death by her first husband, Donald W Owens, who passed away in 1987; also her second husband, Kennith Hasler, who passed away in 2010.  Betty is survived by her two sons, Donald S "Steve" Owens, and Roger Owens (Neva); her grandchildren, Marc Owens and Stephanie Puryear (Bubba); and her great-grandchildren Jack Puryear, Kasarah Puryear, Tristan Puryear, and Kaitlyn Puryear.  Visitation for Betty will be held on Wednesday December 27, 2017 from 4-8 p.m. at DeBaun Springhill Chapel a funeral service will be on Thursday December 28 at 1 p.m. Burial will follow at Sullivan Center Ridge Cemetery. The family would like to send a special thanks to Betty's caregiver Vicki McGahey, as well as Southern Care Hospice.
