Bennett Gillum Blocksom, 72, of West Terre Haute, passed away Friday, February 4, 2022 in Meadows Manor North.  Bennett was born in Terre Haute on September 1, 1949 to Howard and Anna Blocksom.

Bennett loved to visit the West Vigo IGA staff, everyone in Providence Housing, and with everyone he came in contact with.  He belonged to various organizations in the community that helped other people.

Bennett is survived by his sisters Linda Holbert (Jim) of West Terre Haute, Mickey Brooks (Terry) of Owensville, Indiana and his brother Timothy Blocksom (Beverly) of Eastbound, Washington.  He is also survived by several nephews, nieces, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his beloved wife, Barbara, whom he married October 9, 1991, and she preceded him in death on February 25, 2016.
