Benjamin "Ben" Michael Myers, 26 years old, of Terre Haute Indiana passed away unexpectedly in a car accident on his way to work the morning of January 16, 2024.

Ben was born on February 5, 1997, to parents Denise Titzer and Michael Myers.

Ben spent much of his early life playing sports - Golf, Basketball, Baseball, and almost anything he could play if it involved keeping score and especially winning. He also spent his formative years attending Faith Wesleyan Church where he made lifelong friendships and came to know the Lord. After Ben graduated from Terre Haute South Vigo High in 2015, he went on to study at Indiana Wesleyan University, later transferring to St. Mary-of-the-Woods College to study accounting. While attending SMWC he was a key member of the golf team playing in every tournament from the day he joined the team in 2017. He was also integral to leading the team to be two-time USCAA National Champions while also earning the personal achievements of USCAA All-American and Academic All-American in 2018-2019.

After graduating from SMWC in 2020 with a degree in accounting, he started his first job at Indiana State Board of Accounts, later moving to North American Lighting as a Logistics Planner. Ben was a loving son, grandson, brother, and friend spending most of his time with family and friends. He enjoyed meals, shopping, and spending time with his mother Denise Titzer. He loved planning and going on vacations (Brocations) with his closest friends. He often played golf with his father Mike Myers and grandfather Ken Dishon. Ben was beloved by many local golfers he played with by frequenting the local courses and playing in the Sunday leagues. He soon became a local legend on the golf course by winning the Forest Park Club Championship in 2022.

Benjamin was preceded in death by grandparents Charlie Myers and Mary Alice Myers, uncle Robert Myers, and cousin Henry German. He is survived by parents Michael Myers and Denise (Andrew) Titzer; siblings Jessica (Tyler) Michael, Christopher Myers, and Rory Titzer; and grandparents Larry (Jan) Bledsoe, Nancy (Ken) Dishon, and Daniel (Judy) Titzer; along with many well-beloved aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Visitation will be held at DeBaun Funeral Homes on Sunday, January 21, 2024, from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.  Service will be held Monday, January 22, 2024, at the funeral home at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Bob McHenry and Pastor Joe Gormong officiating.  Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery.  Online condolences may be made to www.debaunfuneralhomes.com.
