Barbara Maurine Snider, nee Figg (Passed Away March 23, 2015) Born December 23, 1927 in Prairieton, Indiana to Benjamin and Maurine Drake Figg. She was a housewife. Survivors include son C. Steven Snider and his wife Bonnie of West Lafayette; grand daughters Elaine Erne of Chicago, and Angela Nelson and her husband Jeff and their daughter Allie of Clinton, IL.; sister-in-law Peggy Figg of Long Beach, Calif, and nieces and nephews. Member of Prairieton Chapter #163 Order of Eastern Star. Barbara was an avid golfer playing in Florida and, for many years, at Rea Park in Terre Haute. Preceded in death by her husband Charles L. Snider, her parents, son Bruce Stanley Snider, sister Marilyn Ann, brothers Chet, Bruce and Benjamin. A private ceremony is to held at the Prarieton, Indiana cemetery.
