Barbara (Tucker) Greenwell, 76, of Terre Haute passed away on March 17, 2025. She was born in Terre Haute to parents Robert R. and Geraldine Tucker on February 21, 1949.

Barbara graduated from Gerstmeyer High School in 1966 and attended Indiana State University. She worked at Columbia (Records) House for 39 years. She later cashiered at Walmart on 46 and Baesler's until her health caused her to retire.

Barbara is survived by her husband Jerry Greenwell whom she married on July 16, 1994. Also surviving is son Michael Colvin (Tracey), granddaughter Stephanie Colvin, brother Robert C. Tucker (Deb), sister Beverly Fowler (John), sister-in-aw Peggy Embry (Mike), bonus daughters Angela Mount (Shannon), Connie Haxby (John) and Jerry Wooldridge (Matt), plus bonus grandchildren and bonus great grandchildren, and nieces and nephews. She loved greatly her surviving dogs Rex, Sadie, and Shyanne.

She was preceded in death by her parents, sister Brenda Gammie (Roland), daughter in law Jennifer Colvin and brother-in-law Chuck Greenwell (Susan).

As per her wishes she will be cremated, and no services will be held. A Celebration of life will be at a later date. Cremation was entrusted to DeBaun Funeral Home.
