Barbara Jane Goldsworthy, 89, of Terre Haute and formerly of Mt. Prospect, Illinois, passed away on Wednesday, May 10, 2023.  She was born December 31, 1933, in Berwyn, Illinois to Ora Riley and Edith Pearl Rush Riley.  Barbara was an avid reader and worked as a librarian.  She enjoyed Bible studies, movie nights, and book club.  Most of all she was a beloved wife, mother, and grandmother.

Barbara is survived by her husband of nearly 60 years, Gerald Goldsworthy, son Daniel Goldsworthy (Michele), grandchildren Marlee Goldsworthy, Margaret Goldsworthy, Kayla Goldsworthy, and Kristen Goldsworthy, daughter in law Laurey Goldsworthy, and brother Robert Riley (Myrtle).  She is preceded in death by her parents, son Christopher Goldsworthy, and daughters Sharon Goldsworthy and Lee Ann Goldsworthy.

A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, May 20,2023 at the Trinity Lutheran Church located at 2620 Ohio Boulevard, Terre Haute.  The family will receive visitors from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.  A memorial service will begin at 3:00 p.m. with Pastor Karen Husby officiating.
