Arlene Louise Criss, 84, passed away on January 12, 2021.  She was born on November 9, 1936 to Wesley Tobias and Lois Sturdy-Tobias in Peoria, IL.  Arlene is preceded in death by her parents; husband Jerry; son Mark, as well as her sister Margy.  She is survived by her 2 daughters Kathy Helton (Max) and Laura Anderson (Darren); several nieces and nephews; life-long friend Joyce Fahrenholtz, and her kitty Precious.  Arlene attended Mount Pleasant Church.  She was a member of the Eastern Star.  She enjoyed gardening and working on puzzles.  A private graveside service will be held for Arlene on Saturday, January 16, 2021 at Stephens Cemetery in Lewis, IN. Pastor Rick Swan will be officiating.  If you wish, donations may be made in her honor to the Terre Haute Humane Society.
