It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of April A. (McGee) Johnston of Terre Haute, Indiana, on April 29, 2025, at the age of 46.

April was born on April 22, 1979, in Phoenix, Arizona. April was the beloved daughter of Jeanette and Stephen Munson. Graduating from Shakamak High School in 1997, she went on to attend Ivy Tech Community College where she received a degree in Business. At the age of 19, she began working at First Financial Bank, where she dedicated 26 years of service and rose to the position of Business Systems Analyst.

April was a kind and beautiful person, known for her warmth, generosity, and deep love for her family and animals. She was a devoted mother to her two wonderful sons, Will and Cole Johnston, and a loving aunt to her nieces and nephews. Her caring nature touched the lives of many; she will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege to know her.

She is survived by her sons, Will and Cole Johnston; their father; her parents, Stephen and Jeanette Munson; her sister, Suzie McDaniel; and her brother, Joe Munson.
