Antonio M. Tapia, Sr., 96, of Terre Haute passed away Thursday March 31, 2016 at 9:51 am in Terre Haute Regional Hospital. Antonio was born May 25, 1919 in Manila Philippines to Pedro Tapia and Arsenia (Morales) Tapia. He is survived by his wife, Socorro (Valente) Tapia; daughters, Myrna Tapia Meneses (Romy), Agnes Tapia Loreto (Dr. Teng, DVM), and Dr. Ellen Tapia Terrell; sons, Antonio Tapia, Jr. (Jennie), Dr. Francis Tapia (Dr. Delilah), Danilo Tapia (Eldy), Edwin Tapia (Thess), Edgar Tapia, and Allan Tapia; grandchildren, Myromme (Sayaka), Eleanor (Greg), Winefred, Myonarr, Erwin (Whitney), Myramae, Karen, Matthew, and Brittany; great grandchildren, Myka, Jack, and Mykenzo and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Sunday April 3, 2016 from 1:00 until 3:30 pm in DeBaun Springhill Chapel with a Mass of Christian Burial at 4:00 pm in St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church with Father Rick Ginther officiating
