Anton Ted Valentic, "Tony", 72, of Terre Haute, passed away, Friday December 6, 2013. Tony was born Friday, August 8, 1941 in Chicago, IL to his father, Anton Joseph Valentic and mother, Ann E. Fallquist Valentic who preceded Tony in death along with Tony's daughter Michelle Marie Barnett. Tony graduated from DeVry University. He worked at ATT, Unisys, Sony, Poly-One, and Aisen Brake. He was a jack of all trades. At age 60, Tony received his private pilots license. He was a HAM operator, WD9FES. He enjoyed wood working, camping, gardening, welding, fishing, and radio control airplanes. If you couldn't find him at the house, chances were he could be found mowing or digging holes with his Kabota tractor. He is deeply loved by those close to him. His best friend and beloved wife, Pamela Hartsock Clingerman Valentic, misses him dearly. He left behind three sons and their families. Robert B. Clingerman, his wife Paula and two sons, Aaron C. Clingerman, his wife Angela and two sons, and Robbie M. Valentic, and his wife Marie and two daughters and one son. In- laws Bert and Vivian Hartsock, and sister-in-law Janice Hartsock Campbell and daughter, 3 great grandchildren, and cousins. Tony's sister Virginia Valentic Sullivan, her companion Wally Butterworth and nieces and nephews. Also Adopted family Shaun and Tiffany O'Farrell and children. Tony and his daughter Michelle were both organ donors. Tony was cremated and there will be no memorial services at his request. Tony felt people should visit one another when they are living. The family has entrusted DeBaun Funeral Homes Springhill Chapel, 85 E Springhill Drive, with making arrangements.
