"Andy" James A. Vencel, 62, of Terre Haute passed away Saturday November 4, 2023 in his residence surrounded by his family. He was born January 14, 1961 in Terre Haute to Don Patrick and Annette E. (Ranum) Vencel. Andy is survived by his wife, Loretta (Wood) Vencel; parents, Don and Annette Vencel; daughter, Megan Cook (Kullen); son, Jacob Vencel (Christin); step-daughter, Mandy Newnam (Patrick); brothers, Matthew Vencel (Becky), Tim Vencel (Patricia), and Paul Vencel (Suzanne) and grandchildren, Alison Newnam and Avery Newnam. He was a 30 year member of the Fraternal Order of the Eagles. Andy enjoyed fishing, farming, and bowling. Visitation will be Thursday November 9, 2023 from 1:00 pm until 3:00 pm in DeBaun Springhill Chapel with funeral services at 3:00 pm in the funeral home. Burial will follow in Durham Cemetery.
