Alice L. Everly, 92, of Terre Haute passed away Friday February 3, 2018. Alice was a retired teacher for the Vigo County School Corporation where she spent many years at Sarah Scott Middle School and also was Dean of Girls there. She was born April 29, 1925 in Terre Haute to Guy Lloyd and Effie Mae (Brown) Lloyd. She is survived by a daughter, Jeanne Everly and her husband Tom Weber of Terre Haute and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph R. Everly; a son, Joseph M. Everly, sisters, Kay Thomson, Liz Gymer-Dosch, and Georgia Mae Plumb and brothers, Curtis Lloyd and John Lloyd. She was a member of Unity Presbyterian Church, a member of Y-Me and the Vigo County Retired Teachers Association and was also an avid gardener. In keeping with Alice's wishes, cremation has been chosen.  A Celebration of Life to be held at Unity Presbyterian Church on Saturday, February 17, 2018.  Visitation will begin at 11:00 a.m. with a service to follow at 12:00 noon.
