Alexander Lee Davis

Alexander Davis was born in Wichita, KS to Emeline and Henry Davis on August 4, 1995 and passed away in Terre Haute on November 5, 2017.  He graduated from Terre Haute South Vigo High School in 2013 where he was active on the swimming and diving team.   He attended Indiana University where he majored in business management.  He faced many adversities in the past three years and worked very hard to make great strides in his physical and mental health.  Even through his struggle, Alex's radiant smile and tenacious work ethic persisted. We are heartbroken to have to live without his presence and light. We find comfort in the fact that we will be with him again one day.

His grandparents, Jimmie Lee Taylor, Yukiko Taylor, Roosevelt Davis and Maria Davis, preceded him in death.  He leaves behind his parents, Henry and Emeline, sisters, Taylor and Jordan, and brother, Maximillian, as well as several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

A special thank you to all of our friends and family for all their love and support.  We also wish to express gratitude to the numerous health care professionals in the care and treatment of Alexander. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 113 S. 5th St., Terre Haute, IN 47807 on Thursday, November 9, 2017 at 11:00 AM, with Friar Mark Weaver officiating.  Visitation will be held at the church from 9:00 – 11:00 AM Thursday at the church.  Arrangements are under the direction of DeBaun Funeral Home & Crematory.
