Alberta R. Bailey, 94, of Terre Haute passed away Saturday September 14, 2019 in her residence. She was born February 16, 1925 in Vigo County to Charles and Emma (Austin) Slusser. She is survived by her sons; Ronald Bailey, Mark S. Bailey (Melody), and Randy Bailey; grandchildren, Tamara Cochran (Phil), Trishla Hawkins (Jay), and Brock Bailey; great-grandchildren, Jacob and Lily Hawkins; sister, Vera Cooke and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by Mark E. Bailey, father of her sons; sisters, Marcella Moore and Geraldine Cottom and a brother, James "Bud" Slusser. Visitation will be Sunday September 22, 2019 from 4:00 until 8:00 pm in DeBaun Springhill Chapel with private family burial on Monday September 23, 2019 in Roselawn Memorial Park with Pastor Jeff Lee officiating.
