Agness Elizabeth Lawson, 89, formerly of Terre Haute, passed away on July 4, 2013. She was born in Winamac, IN to George L. Korreckt and Amelia F. (Dennis) Korreckt. Agness attended and was a member of St. Joseph University Parish. She was also a member of the St. Joseph University Parish Alter Society and Women's Transportation Club. Agness is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Susie and Michael Gummere of Fortville, IN ; grandson James Gummere, his wife Crystal; sister Katherine Pugh; and several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents; and siblings George Korreckt, Frank Korreckt, Harold Korreckt, Anamary Korreckt, Theresa Bowen, and Frances Keating. Mass of Christian burial will be in St. Joseph University Parish, 113 S 5th Street, at 10:00a.m. on Monday July 8, 2013. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be at the church on Monday from 9:00a.m. until 10:00 a.m. The family suggests that in lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Joseph University Parish or Carmelite Monastery. The family has entrusted DeBaun Funeral Homes, 85 E Springhill Drive, with making arrangements.
