Abigail Jane "A.J." Barbee, 59, of Terre Haute passed away on Thursday, March 21, 2024, at Majestic North Healthcare.  She was born to Darold D. Barbee and Harriett J. Hoffman Barbee on August 29, 1964, in Terre Haute.  A.J. enjoyed Bingo, watching gameshows, and playing cards.  She loved her Diet Coke.  Most of all, spending time with her children and her family brought her so much joy.

A.J. is survived by her children, Kelsey Vaughn and Matthew Vaughn, siblings Matt Barbee (Stacie), Connie James (Jon), and Hannah DeCamp (Quincy).  She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister Frances Koonce.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 28, 2024, at DeBaun Springhill Chapel from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.  The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the staff of Majetic Care North and Southern Care Hospice for the love and care given to A.J.  In lieu of flowers, donations in remembrance of A.J. can be made to Southern Care Hospice.  Online condolences may be made to www.debaunfuneralhome.com.
