Richard Triestram Obituary

Richard Triestram, 78, of Terre Haute, Indiana passed away on February 24, 2019 at his residence. He was born June 17, 1940 in Kalamazoo, Michigan to Roy Triestram and Edith (Summerville) Triestram. Richard loved God, loved his family and loved people. He never encountered someone he could not talk to even in Mexico (though sometimes through a translator). Richard and Judy were in full-time ministry for nearly 50 years. He was a great story-teller and champion of children. He touched so many lives. Richard is survived by his wife of nearly 60 years, Judith Triestram, son Kevin and granddaughter Ashley Triestram and grandson Kyle Triestram, daughter Deborah and husband Ron Alburtus and granddaughter Amanda Hoover and husband Travis, granddaughter Courtney Weedman and husband Jeremy, granddaughter Brittany Swain and husband Joel, granddaughter Megan Ingala and husband Lucas, son Douglas and wife Dana, grandson Jordan Triestram, granddaughter Colby Roberts and husband Nate. Seven great grandchildren Madelynne Hoover, Aiden, Nolan and Londyn Weedman, Xander and Oliver Swain, and Rebekah Ingala.  Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 28, 2019 at DeBaun Springhill Chapel from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. with service to follow visitation.  Ron Alburtus and Pastor Charles Coffin will be officiating.  Online condolences may be made to www.debaunfuneralhomes.com.
