Max E. Heady, 96, of Farmersburg passed away Friday September 20, 2019 in Cobblestone Crossing Health Campus. He was a barber in Fairbanks and Terre Haute for many years. He was born January 28, 1923 in Terre Haute to Russell and Minnie R. (Sharpe) Heady. Max is survived by his daughter, Shirley Williams (Kenny) of Terre Haute; son, Ed Heady (Judy) of Pimento; grandchildren, Abby Hollis (Brandon), Katyann DiSalvo (Danny), Chad Heady (Kelly), and Amy Kelsay (Joe); great-grandchildren, Brittany DiSalvo, Shannon Wheeler (Josh), Zachary DiSalvo, Rachel DiSalvo, Leah DiSalvo, Kyle Hollis, Amber Hollis, Sarah Hollis, Bryan Hollis, Jenna Kelsay, Josie Kelsay, Jack Kelsay, Evan Heady, Emma Heady, and Brandon Hensley (Halley); great great-grandchild, Rory Hensley and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife Betty Ruth (Hunter) Heady who died July 26, 2015; sister, Louise Heady and brothers, Charles Heady, Laurel Heady, Paul Heady, and Dane Heady. Max was a veteran of the US Army 305th Bomb Group during WWII serving in the European Theater. He also attended Pimento Methodist Church. There will be no services per Max’s request, his ashes will be buried in West Lawn Cemetery in Farmersburg.
