Marjorie Lynn (Bluse) Southworth

Marjorie Lynn Southworth, 69, of Terre Haute passed away Monday November 6, 2017 at 9:42 pm in Terre Haute Regional Hospital. She was a Licensed Practical Nurse. Marjorie was born February 19, 1948 in Ironwood, MI to Leonard Clarence Bluse and Margaret Ann (Suzik) Bluse. She is survived by her husband of 49 years, Frederick Carl Southworth; her mother, Margaret Bluse of Hurley, WI; daughter, Heidi Pitakis (Kenny) of Maysville, KY; son, Jason Southworth (fiancée, Tina Strange) of Lexington, KY; grandchildren, Haley Pitakis and Tanner Pitakis; sister, Bobbie Glatzak (Bob); brothers, Kenny Bluse (Ginny), Mike Bluse (Jill), and Mark Bluse (Terri) and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father and a sister Mary Jane Bluse. Marjorie was a loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother, and sister. She so loved helping other people that she spent her life helping raise children and caring for the elderly and she would always put other people’s needs before her own. She had a loving and caring heart and going to be sadly missed by all that knew her. As per Marjorie’s request there will be a private family memorial service at a later date. DeBaun Springhill Chapel is in charge of arrangements. If friends so desire, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital in Marjorie’s memory.
