Larry W. Nelson

Larry W. Nelson, 74, of Hymera, Indiana, passed away on May 10th at his home surrounded by family.

He was born on December 24, 1942 to Imogene “Jean” (May) Nelson and William Nelson in Chicago Heights, Illinois.

Larry married Sandy (Hill) Nelson on September 1, 1962.  They were happily married for 54 years and raised 3 daughters.

Larry is survived by his wife, his daughters Marka (Albert) Frabutt, Pam (John) Stefancik, Laura (Joe) Nelson-Leach; sisters Jelena (Gerry) Allen, Tina (Joe) Eslinger; grandchildren Lindsey (Travis) Samm, Jordan Stefancik, Jett & Ivy Wolfe and Jeffrey Leach; his great-grandchildren Brynlee & Bodee Samm; several aunts, cousins, nieces & nephews; and his dog Rocky.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his in-laws (Roy& Juanita Hill), and a niece Deena Moody.

Larry enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, restoring motorcycles and cars, and babysitting grandchildren.

At his request, no services will be held. DeBaun Springhill Chapel, 85 East Springhill Drive, Terre Haute, Indiana was entrusted with care and arrangements.
